Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

John is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and qualified as a medical doctor from Trinity College Dublin in 1996. He holds his United States Medical Licensing exams.
Dr McKeon was joint founder of the company while working in Emergency Room Medicine.
John Carroll FCA
Chief Financial Officer
John Carroll FCA trained as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young, Dublin and has more than fifteen years post qualification experience in a range of sectors.
He has a broad knowledge of licensing gained as a result of his roles as a record company CFO and founder and Financial Director of DP Music Limited, a successful music publishing company.
Chief Strategy Officer
Dr. Ryan is responsible for developing, communicating, completing, and maintaining corporate strategic initiatives.
John has over 20 years’ international business experience in the testing, inspection and certification sector. He co-founded the international certification body, Certification Europe Ltd., and held multiple executive roles within that business.
He is an experienced non-executive director both in the commercial and not for profit sectors.
John holds bachelor (BSc) and doctorate degrees (PhD) and is a graduate of the Institute of Directors.
Senior Project Manager
Jennifer is responsible for the project management of ASL’s operations, working with colleagues in our testing, licensing and joint venture partners. She works to create efficiencies in the project pipeline, so that workflows are smooth and project timelines are reduced.
Jennifer was previously an Irish diplomat, and has a broad range of international experience including in project management, policy development, languages, management, and communications. She has academic qualifications in statistics, international relations, and psychology.
Chief Information Officer
Dave has been working with Allergy Standards since 2009. His key responsibilities are in the Information Technology, Consumer Insights/Data and Digital Strategy sectors of the business.
Over the past several years Dave and his team have developed ASL and Certification Program related web sites, the cloud based infrastructure of ASL (CRM system customisations, Product, Standard and Document database applications) and liaised with partners in developing the ASL core business offering.
Vice President of Sales
Courtney has been working with ASL since 2016. Her key responsibility is in the business development and sales of Certification Program in North America.
Courtney is a seasoned sales leader and strategist with an International MBA from the University of Pisa in Italy. Her experiences have taken her across the world, living and working across the United States, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East for companies such as Novartis Pharmaceuticals and Wells Fargo. She excels in developing new programs, turnaround sales techniques, and coaching teams.
Mark Kennedy MBS, BA
Program Director – Europe and Asia
Mark Kennedy is responsible for the development of the Asthma and Allergy Friendly certification Program in Europe and Asia for all of our market segments.
Mark has a masters degree in International Business and has broad sectoral experience in business development. Prior to joining Allergy Standards Mark has worked in similar roles in Microsoft, 3 Mobile and Spark (Telecom New Zealand).
Tracy joined Allergy Standards as office manager in 2008 and is responsible for the general day-to-day running of the office.
Tracy has spent all of her career working in administration and sales in various business sectors. She became interested in the medical profession after working as an administrator for the BUPA Ireland Health@Work Team where she was responsible for medical reports, invoicing and coordination of all health screening projects.
