The Allergy Summit, co-hosted by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America and Allergy Standards, on the 24th of October 2018, in Ogilvy Headquarters in Manhattan, New York, was a great success.
The Summit was a welcome opportunity to bring together a broad range of stakeholders – such as retailers, thought leaders, influencers, patients as well as asthma & allergy friendly® Certification Program clients – to look at and analyse the rising market opportunity for the allergy-aware consumer. Leading industry, patient, and physician voices were on hand at the Allergy Summit to think collaboratively about the path towards targeting and benefiting the allergy-aware consumer, while creating competitive and differentiated products in the marketplace.
“It is critical that consumers have the ability to make informed choices about the products they purchase that impact their daily health and lives, especially in their homes,” said John McKeon, CEO of Allergy Standards. “Consumers can have the confidence that every product CERTIFIED asthma & allergy friendly® has been rigorously tested against criteria designed to address the triggers of asthma and allergies and to improve indoor air quality.”
We are very much looking forward to next year’s Summit and we hope that the event will keep gathering more and more people as asthma and allergies are a rising issue in the U.S. and wellness is a key aspect of tomorrow’s marketplace.
