The inaugural Global Biorisk Advisory Council Air Symposium will take place this August in Chicago and our CEO Dr John McKeon is a keynote speaker. This year’s focus is on Air Considerations and features 11 world-renowned speakers, research breakout sessions, and social networking opportunities. The Symposium is focused on improving the quality of indoor air in non-healthcare settings such as schools, offices, restaurants, and gyms by communicating best practices, advances in innovations, programs, and processes, the implementation of which will make these facilities safer not only during a pandemic, but also after the current crisis is behind us.
The event is hosted by our wonderful colleagues Patricia Olinger and Michael Diamond of GBAC and ISSA-The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association and will herald in the official launch of our Healthier Buildings Awareness educational program for GBAC members.
Dr. John McKeon will highlight the need for an integrated approach when it comes to managing the air we breathe in our indoor environments. His keynote, entitled ‘Cleaning For Health To Create The Healthiest Possible Indoor Environment ‘, will focus on the “Building Science Trifecta” of Air Quality, Energy Efficiency, and Materials Science, how each is interdependent, and why “cleaning for health” and not just for appearance should be the mantra for all purpose-driven building professionals.
