In order for a home appliance to be CERTIFIED asthma & allergy friendly®, strict standards for appropriate levels must be met when:
• Monitoring it’s capability to reduce allergens and irritants;
• Determining it’s capability to reach washing temperatures of 130°F or more;
• Analyzing it’s capability to kill house dust mites; and
• Monitoring it’s capability to achieve the above requirements without exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
