This talk explores current and future healthy home trends with a focus on indoor air quality, whole house filtration and the importance of third party certification. IAQ is a key component in the healthy home and builders will benefit by a deeper understanding of how whole house filtration and other asthma and allergy friendly products can help them keep their business healthy.

Certification
Choosing the appropriate material or product can be confused by the practice of ‘green washing’ or simply by poor science. Third party certification avoids this pitfall by independently and rigorously testing and subsequently certifying only when strict specifications are met. ASL has developed the asthma & allergy friendly®™ mark to identify products that consumers can trust for their relative suitability for people with asthma and allergies.
