ASL team met with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar in Canada

For the first official visit of the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar (Irish Prime Minister) to Canada, the Allergy Standards Ltd (ASL) team had the honour to be invited to a special gathering in Toronto.

Allergy Standards talked business with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar

Enterprise Ireland in collaboration IDA Ireland, the Ireland Canada Chamber of Commerce in Toronto and the Ireland Funds  hosted a business breakfast in Toronto. This was an opportunity for the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to meet with some Irish businesses operating in Canada, such as ASL. As more and more international brands are showing interest towards our Canadian Certification Program, this event was of great importance in generating further awareness.  It was the perfect opportunity for Courtney Sunna, ASL Vice President of Sales, to discuss with the Irish Prime Minister the development of Allergy Standards business within Canada.   The attendance of our team to this event highlights the growing trend towards the development of scientific standards based programs for the Canadian marketplace and the importance of this region to ASL.

What is ASL’s mission?

Allergy Standards Ltd is an International Standards and Certification Body that prepares independent standards for a wide range of products to declare their suitability for people whose lives are affected by allergies and asthma. We produce scientific standards on a wide range of products and services and developed three different Certification Programs so far.
