We are delighted to announce the appointment of Emma Coonan as Executive Assistant to CEO.
As Executive Assistant to CEO, Emma is responsible for supporting the efficient and effective management of day-to-day and strategic operations in the CEO’s office and across the business. Working closely with the CEO and the wider Allergy Standards team, Emma’s role includes process management, operational planning, and project management.
“Emma’s qualifications, training, and experience working with CEO’s at the highest level in addition to her work in the health and wellbeing field are a perfect combination for a scaling life sciences and digital health company, making a digital footprint on an international scale,” said Dr. John McKeon, CEO.
Emma has over twelve years’ experience in Executive Support, Senior Administration, and Event Management roles within corporate, academic, and not-for-profit sectors including Trinity Foundation, Trinity College Dublin; The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland; NCB Stockbrokers Ltd; Deloitte & Touche, and Chill insurance Ltd. Emma is an accredited Psychotherapist and has combined her work in the corporate arena with her private Psychotherapy practice for a number of years.
Emma graduated from National University of Ireland, Maynooth, with a BA (Hons) in Media Studies and English. Ongoing professional and personal development is a passion of Emma’s, and since graduating Emma has been awarded a HDip (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, an MA (Hons) in Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Event Management, and is a certified trainer in Training Delivery and Evaluation. Emma has enjoyed volunteer experience as a reviewer of children’s books for an award winning children’s literature platform and as a local community club leader in one of Ireland’s leading youth organisations.
