Allergy Standards Has New Membership In The World of Electrotechnical Standardisation

Allergy Standards Limited(ASL) is pleased to announce that their Project Manager, Gildas Guionnet has become a National Participant of the European Committee for Electrical Standardization (CENELEC) and member of the TC 59X/WG 06 Committee for Surface cleaning appliances (Vacuum Cleaners), through the British Standards Institution (BSI).

 
Gildas will be representing ASL and contributing their view to the Standards development process. Responsibilities of a member of CENELEC include studying documents circulated to the committee, circulating new work proposals and drafts, submitting comments to the Committee Secretary, attending meetings and participating in the consensus building process.
 
Gildas Guionnet joined ASL in May 2019 and is responsible for the project management of the product testing process, guiding the clients through the journey and coordinating the work with partner labs. His membership of  CENELEC fulfils his role in supporting ASL by taking on various internal continuous improvement projects with regards to Standards maintenance, process efficiency and mapping.

I think it is an acknowledgement of the work we have been doing for years on developing our own asthma & allergy friendly® Certification Standards, which are regarded as scientifically credible by industry leaders. I am excited to work with some of the most knowledgeable people in the world on vacuum cleaners and I’ll try to carry out ASL’s unique voice on the subjects of asthma, allergy and more globally indoor air quality during any activity the committee will need input in.” said Gildas
