Financial Controller

Kieran McLaughlin joined ASL in October 2024 as our Financial Controller, bringing over nine years of diverse experience in financial management, auditing, and team leadership. A results-driven Chartered Accountant, Kieran has honed his expertise in implementing financial systems, managing budgets, and providing strategic guidance to optimize business performance.

Before joining ASL, Kieran worked as Financial Controller for a rapidly expanding renewable energy company. In this role, he led financial operations, introduced a new financial reporting system to support timely decision-making, and advised senior leadership on strategies for efficiency and growth.

Kieran has also held managerial roles with an established audit firm, where he focused on audit management, mentoring junior staff, and delivering tailored support to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He earned his Chartered Accountant designation through Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a BSc with Honors in Business with Accounting from the University of Ulster, where he also completed a Diploma in Professional Practice.

Kieran’s strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills make him a valuable asset to ASL’s finance team, as he continues to support the company’s strategic financial objectives.
