Donation of “Asthma & Allergy Friendly” Toys to Kids Across the U.S. on World Allergy Day
December 5, 2007 — Washington, DC The oldest and largest allergy patient advocacy organization in the world, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), is making the holidays a little brighter for children coast-to-coast who are hospitalized due to asthma, allergies or other respiratory diseases this year by donating over 1,000 certified Asthma & Allergy Friendly®™ toys. Their donation coincided with World Allergy Day, December 4, 2007.

The Asthma & Allergy Friendly® Certification Program is a unique program developed by Allergy Standards Limited. The program tests and certifies products to prove their suitability for people with asthma and allergies. The program works with retailers and manufacturers to help consumers create a ‘healthier home’.
