ISSA Webinar

Thursday, March 2nd 2023 7:00PM – 8:00PM GMT

As part of their Rethink Clean Campaign, ISSA-The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association,  is presenting a free webinar entitled “Cleaning for Air Quality” this Thursday 2nd March 2023. The webinar will focus on practical tips and cutting-edge systems for facility executives, featuring our CEO Dr. John McKeon and fellow experts in indoor air quality Patti Olinger and Mark Hernandez.

Dr.McKeon will discuss the importance of  improving the quality of indoor air in non-healthcare settings such as convention centers, hotels, commercial offices, and stadiums to protect and support health and well-being. The cleaning industry is moving forward at pace and it is important that the concept of cleaning for health – and not just for appearance- is embedded in its core philosophy.

The webinar will offer an opportunity to facility managers, building owners, contract cleaners and anyone interested in indoor air quality to learn about best practices, advances in technology, certification programs – like the asthma & allergy friendly® Certification Program– and processes, the implementation of which will create more hygienic outcomes that benefit building occupants.

ASL and Global Biorisk Advisory Board (GBAC – a division of ISSA)

ASL and GBAC run a skills and training program, entitled “Healthier Buildings Awareness”, that was specifically developed for the Facilities Management industry to address the knowledge gap relating to healthy buildings and indoor air quality. The course features four modules that educate users on the impact of poor IAQ, how to control pathogens like SARS-CoV-2, challenges of asthma and allergies, and how a building could have multiple triggers that cause low IAQ and illnesses. This course, designed and delivered specifically for building management professionals, will help plan the practical next steps in creating cleaner indoor air for all stakeholders.
