Allergy Standards Ltd is proud to announce our participation as attendees at FILTECH 2023, the largest and most important filtration show in the world. With over 440 exhibitors and a major international conference, FILTECH 2023 is a must-attend event for those in the filtration industry.
The field of filtration is constantly evolving and new developments in these areas are driven by the need to address issues such as harmful airborne particulates, allergens, organisms and dust, and also the need to increase the efficiency and the quality of filtration systems. The role of air filters to help create a healthier built environment has gained momentum in recent years and the consumer is now demanding a product that fulfils this criterion.
At FILTECH 2023, we will have the opportunity to observe the latest advances in the industry and connect with key players in the market. Our attendance here will build on our recent successful trip to the AHR show in Atlanta, Georgia and allow us to share our cutting edge insights.
While at the AHR Expo show in Atlanta the team was grateful for the opportunity to speak with Douglas Huntley, Global R&D Director at 3M, about what the asthma & allergy friendly Certification Program means to them. The 3M brand promise of “Science Applied to Life” and belief in third party certification helps eliminate the ‘confusion of claims’ that exists around uncertified products that claim to support a healthier indoor environment. The consumer is demanding CERTIFIED products like 3M Filtrete to fulfil their need for healthy buildings and homes.

To be independently CERTIFIED asthma & allergy friendly® means a product has been stringently tested against a range of strict standards and is scientifically proven to effectively reduce the airborne allergen burden, and to support a healthier indoor environment. Indoor Air Quality is of particular concern for those affected by asthma and allergies, but a healthier home is of broader benefit to all. A CERTIFIED HVAC product is an attractive option for the consumer looking for a validated product that helps contribute to a healthy home.
