Tokyo & Osaka, Japan, January 2009 Allergy Standards Limited recently returned from a highly successful Enterprise Ireland Trade Mission to Japan, which was led by Irish Prime Minister, Mr Brian Cowen, T.D. The purpose of the Trade Mission was to help Irish companies capitalise on the opportunities for business in Japan.
During the visits to Tokyo and Osaka, ASL participated in many successful meetings with Japanese manufacturers to discuss the possibility of expanding the international asthma & allergy friendly™ certification program to Japan.
ASL also attended the Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland business reception in the Ritz Carlton Hotel, this event gave ASL the opportunity to network with Japanese business representatives and potential partners and included a speech by Mr John McGuinness T.D, Minister for Trade and Commerce.
ASL expects to make a formal announcement regarding new deals for the International Program in the second quarter of this year.
