The Bolton Trust to promote an enterprise culture and to offer young entrepreneurs an opportunity to develop their business ideas in Ireland, recently celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a one-day conference 'Enterprise-The Way Forward'.

The Irish President Mary McAleese closed the Conference by making presentations to founding members of the Bolton Trust - Jack O'Keefe, Eddie Laverty, and Dermot McKenna.

Speakers at the event included entrepreneurs Chris Horn and Liavan Mallin and Frank Ryan, CEO, Enterprise Ireland as well as several who have benefited from the support of the Bolton Trust including, Dr John McKeon, Allergy Standards, Jonathan Mulligan, Openplain, Michael Farrelly, Media Market and Sean McCarthy, Steorn.

Speaking at the Conference, Rea O'Neill, Chairman of the Bolton Trust said 'The Bolton Trust has a proud and successful tradition of supporting entrepreneurship in Ireland first through the Powerhouse Enterprise Centre and now through the Docklands Innovation Park. We look forward to continuing to nurture and support Irish entrepreneurs who have the drive, vision and ability to build great enterprise solutions.
