Dublin, Ireland, June 12, 2008 Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, John Gormley TD, officially opened a new €1million laboratory for Allergy Standards Consulting Limited (ASC).
The laboratory, based in Dublin's Docklands, will analyse samples collected as part of ASC's Health Friendly AirTM Programme which tests the indoor workplace and home environment for levels of the most commonly found air contaminants that cause ill health and ensures these levels meet international standards and best practice. ASC's Health Friendly AirTM Programme is based on extensive global research that shows indoor environmental conditions substantially influence health and wellbeing, particularly for those with asthma and allergies.
