Hong Kong, January 2010 
As a leader in toy certification, Allergy Standards, who jointly runs the asthma & allergy friendly™ certification programme, has just returned from the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Asia's largest Toy Fair. 

Here they attended a series of industry meetings, which included the Toy Association of America, met with several specialist toy testing laboratories along with participating and potential client companies.

Attending from Allergy Standards Ltd were Dr John McKeon, CEO, and Fraser Hodgson, International Sales Manager.

The fair was a great success with more than 33,000 buyers attending the exhibition, with the number of buyers from the United States and Europe rising by more then 30 per cent, while those from Japan increased by 45 per cent from the previous year. 

As active stakeholders in the Toy Industry, over the coming months we will be attending the London, Nuremberg and New York Toy Fairs, actively growing the certification programme awareness and profile.
