This role is an exciting opportunity for a life science graduate with a microbiology/biochemistry background and 1-2 years laboratory experience.

Experience in the performance of diagnostic assays, writing SOPs and reports would be an advantage. Excellent organisational, practical and communicational skills are essential for this position. The role will involve routine testing of samples from products undergoing certification or samples from environmental monitoring, according to company procedures.

In addition, assisting the Occupational Hygienist/Technical Manger in setting up new test methods will be an important part of this role. Maintenance of laboratory equipment and ordering of consumables, plus additional tasks as directed by management will also be involved. Experience in Occupational Hygiene would be an advantage but not essential.
